The main pricing factors
Providers commonly price around the number and size of affected slabs, the amount of lift, the estimated volume of material, drilling requirements, access, mobilization, and minimum service charges. A small single-panel project can carry a higher effective cost per square foot than a larger job.
- Surface and slab size: driveways, walkways, patios, pool decks, and interior slabs present different access and finish requirements.
- Amount of settlement: a deeper or larger void may require more material and careful staged lifting.
- Access: gates, slopes, landscaping, walls, and occupied commercial spaces can affect equipment placement.
- Drainage work: extending downspouts or correcting erosion is normally separate from lifting.
- Condition: badly fractured or deteriorated concrete may require replacement instead.
Why we do not publish a guaranteed flat rate
A flat online number can be misleading before anyone sees the slab. Photos and measurements may help screen the project, but they do not reveal every void, soil condition, buried obstruction, or structural concern. Ask for a written scope that identifies the included slabs and expected result.
Compare the full proposal
Compare material, injection-hole size, cleanup, crack expectations, drainage recommendations, exclusions, warranty terms, insurance, and payment schedule. The lowest number is not automatically the lowest total cost if the underlying water problem remains.
Leveling versus replacement
Leveling can avoid demolition, hauling, forming, pouring, and curing when the existing slab remains suitable. Replacement provides new concrete but may disturb adjacent surfaces and does not by itself solve poor drainage or unstable soil. Request both options when the slab condition is uncertain.
